Scholastic Book Fairs

Unlock the wonder and imagination of your children by attending the Scholastic Book Fair events held at Syble Hopp School!

By empowering our students to choose their own books, a milestone opportunity is cultivated in them to identify and express their own voice. Book fairs also promote the kids to leave the Book Fair as bolder, prouder, and stronger individuals.

Faces representing their community. Voices speaking to their identity. Heroes old and new. The characters in their books inspire children and send their imaginations wandering. Say hello to these lovable friends!

Help us bring books into the lives of our students, teachers, and classrooms! The Book Fair chairperson is responsible for coordinating two Book Fairs per school year - fall and spring. Scholastic has crafted amazing resources for the Book Fair Chairperson to utilize, making running a book fair easier than ever!

Responsibilities include: coordinating with Scholastic and Syble Hopp School to schedule book fair dates, creating and sending SignUp Geniuses to engage parent volunteers and gather donations, set-up and tear-down of the book fair displays, learning the Scholastic registers (they're easy!!) so that you can help other parent volunteers feel comfortable running the register, etc.
